San Jose police officer shot while responding to family disturbance SAN JOSE — A San Jose police officer was shot Wednesday morning while responding to a reported family disturbance at a residence, authorities confirmed.After receiving the report of the disturbance at 7:57 a.m., officers contacted residents at the door of the home near the area of Auzerais Avenue and Race Street, police said. (KRON) -- A police officer has been shot by a suspect while responding to a family disturbance near Auzerais Avenue in San Jose, the San Jose Police Department has confirmed. Sonoma County approves $1.4M for affordable housing (BCN) -- Sonoma County supervisors voted Tuesday to provide $1.4 million in loans to construct 159 new housing units in Santa Rosa, Windsor and Guerneville to expand the supply of affordable housing. The housing will be earmarked for extremely-low, very-low and low-income households except for three units designated for on-site managers, the county said in a press release.
