SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- A man and two dogs that went off a cliff at Fort Funston have been successfully rescued, according to the San Francisco Fire Department. SFFD received the call at 11:39 a.m. and the incident was resolved by 1:35 p.m. ‘They are doing it wrong’: Ron DeSantis visits SF, slams city in campaign ad The man was rescued first, according to an update from SFFD. Crews went back down the cliff to bring up the two dogs. All three will be OK, according to SFFD. (KRON) -- A transgender man took to Reddit to speak out about a local Walgreens pharmacist refusing to give him his prescribed medication, all because it "went against his religion." One dead in Oakland Embarcadero shooting Roscoe Rike, 30, of Oakland, says he has been going to the Walgreens pharmacy on Telegraph Avenue for nearly a decade. He's been picking up his HRT, or hormone-replacement therapy, at the same location for the past three years, always without issue. Rike says this time was different. A pharmacist that Rike had never seen at the location before asked what exactly the medication was for, which seemed unusual."I told him I was pretty sure that it wasn't any of his business," Rike said. (KRON) -- The San Mateo Police Department is asking for help in identifying three women who allegedly stole thousands in merchandise from three different stores Friday. Officers were called to the various locations at around 6 p.m. Friday, San Mateo PD said.The locations, which were spread across San Mateo, included an Old Navy, a Victoria's Secret and an Ulta. San Mateo PD called it organized retail theft and is seeking to identify the suspects, who are wanted for questioning. (KRON) -- Authorities are searching for a suspect linked to a series of armed robberies, the Redwood City Police Department (RCPD) announced Wednesday. The alleged robberies happened between Oct. 6, and Nov. 18, 2022. The alleged robberies happened at two unidentified small businesses: one on the 900 block of Whipple Avenue and the other on El Camino Real and Chestnut Street. RCPD did not specify which robberies happened at which location. RCPD posted a photo of the suspect (above).
