Crush Club and Robyn

Crush Club and Robyn: TC Milan of L.A. electro disco house duo Crush Club told us about his Robyn experience.TC Milan: The best gig I’ve ever experienced was Robyn’s Honey tour at Madison Square Garden. Ordinarily, artists pull out all the stops for a headline show at MSG, but Robyn kept it pretty simple with minimal set design, a small band, and one featured dancer. I appreciated the simplicity; it was all about her performance with no tricks necessary. I used to study videos of her performances so I could emulate the way she connects to audiences while playing. It wasn’t something I could actually learn but hoped nonetheless I’d acquire some of her magic through osmosis. It was thrilling to see her pl...
